I recently had a need for ordering cheap skip hire. I found the task daunting at first but through experience I learnt how to do it. I want to show you what I learnt and how you can do it too. Even if you haven’t a need for a skip yet you might do in the future.
People think that cheap skip hire is only needed by professional builders. This is not the case and you will often see a skip parked on someone’s driveway. I needed mine because I was changing to a landscaped garden. This meant that I had more rubbish than my local authority could take away for me.
I soon released that as I was changing my garden that I would need a skip. I had an idea about asking my friends and family about it but they couldn’t help. I couldn’t find any companies in the telephone directory so I looked on the internet. I used my checklist to discard a few companies.
My checklist was quite comprehensive enabling me to select the best cheap skip hire I could. Firstly, I thought about how far away the company was. I wanted them to be quite close so it would be easier to arrange the delivery or if something went wrong it could be easily sorted out.
You then have to consider how long you want the skip for. I decided I wanted to use it for a full week. Once you have decided that you have to think about delivery. Which day is best for you in terms of it being dropped off and picked up again? Think about the times of the day that suit you.
Once I knew my requirements it didn’t take me long to find a cheap skip hire company. I have to admit though I did make a mistake about the size. I didn’t really think too much about it when I was putting my list together. Make sure you do otherwise you will end up going to the tip like me!
I am pleased with how it all went. Overall I was extremely happy with the service received and I am happy with my garden too.
