There are more factors that you should consider as well. As an example, what is the capacity that it can hold? Shall we say that you are cleaning your stairway, you do not want to be forced to stop each 5 minutes so that you can clean it out. This would be nothing less than a waste of your time. If it is cord-free, how long is it able to run without being recharged? The very last thing that you need to do is get into an enormous job only to need to stop halfway thru. Weight is also a huge consideration. Sure, 6 pounds may not look like a lot now, but how light will that feel after you have been carrying it for 10 minutes? You would like to be sure that a portable vacuum is really portable. No wonder so many people taking a look at hand held vacuum cleaners choose to go with a name brand that they know they can depend on.
